For those who grew up being bullied or are currently going through it right now, don’t worry you are not alone. Kate Winslet, famous for her roles in the Titanic and Divergent, opened up about her childhood buddies.

In front of a crowd of 12,000 attendees at this year’s fourth annual WE Day UK event at the SSE Arena in Wembley, London on Wednesday, the Oscar winner told the audience that she was picked on for wanting to be an actress when she was younger.

“I had been bullied at school. They called me Blubber. Teased me for wanting to act. Locked me in the cupboard. Laughed at me,” she said according to Entertainment Weekly.

“I was even told that I might be lucky with my acting, if I was happy to settle for the fat girl parts,” she added. “I felt that I wasn’t enough, I wasn’t good enough. I didn’t look right … and all because I didn’t fit into someone else’s idea of ‘perfect.’ I didn’t have the perfect body.”

She was determined to not let their jabs kill her dreams and never gave up no matter how small her role was in movie.

Referring back to her early acting days, she stated that she often was casted ” as the crocodile, or the scarecrow, or the dark fairy, I was even a dancing frog once,” she remembered. “But it didn’t matter. I still loved it. I loved acting. It didn’t matter how big or small the parts were. I wanted to be great and I was determined to keep learning.”

Her perservance paid off when she landed the role as Rose in the classic hit movie Titanic. It felt so surreal for her, seeing ” Kate from the sandwich shop in Reading, suddenly acting in one of the biggest movies ever made!”

Winslet encourages to follow in her footstep and strive for excellence!

“Get out there and go for it because your generation has the power to rock the world! You can be from anywhere, and you can do anything. Believe it,” she said.

A woman died suddenly after consuming a toxic herbal tea that  she had purchased ata  store in San Fransico’s China Town area.

According to the NY POST,u-Ping Xie, 56, of San Francisco, was one of two people who had fallen ill shortly  after buying tea leaves at  Sun Wing Wo Trading Company which was a little over a week after  the city officals had warned consumers  to avoid buying tea leaves at that location.

After drinking the tea on March 18th, she was rushed to the hospital where she later died, despite the warning that city officials had made  a week prior.

The other victim, a 30 year old  something man, whose name has not been revealed, became severly ill within an hour of drinking the tea that  had contained aconite.

Asconite is a carcinogenic chemical that causes an abnormally fast beating of the heart, which both victims had endured.

“Aconite, a plant-based toxin, was later found in lab tests of the patients and provided tea samples, city health officials said,” according to the NY POST.

Spokeswoman Rachael Kagan told the Chronicle that the male victim has fully recovered and is no longer being treated at the hospital.

San Francisco’s city examiner is working to determine the exact cause and manner of Xie’s  while the health department officials are working alongside the owner of the Chinatown store to track down where the contaminated products derived from, according to the POST.

Dr. Tomas Aragon, the health officer for the city and county of San Francisco, released a statement where he demanded that those that purchased any tea from that specific store ,  get rid of it right immediately.

Because there is no known antidote for aconite poisoning, it can cause rapid death.

Aconite — also known as monkshood, helmet flower, wolfsbane, chuanwu, caowu or fuzi is popularily  used in Asian herbal medicine to treat bruises, pain, and etc.

If not processed correctly, the toxic raw roots of the plant,  can cause numbness of the face, limcs, or mouth, alarmingly low blood presure, paralysis and an usual heart rhythm, the same source noted.

An ABC8 News reporter was kicked out after trying to speak to the owner of the Sun Wing Wo Trading Company store.

One man was recently arrested for allegedly having sex with his family dog.

According to http://www.lovebscott.com/, a family member had dialed 911 after witnessing  23-year-old Bradley Jean Hubbard, of Pensacola, Florida, taking the pitbull mix to his bedroom and engaging in sexual intercourse with it.

She was able to see the attack unfold right before her eyes through a hole in his bedroom door (that was caused from a previous violent tantrum).

She claimed that this was not the first time that this has  incident occurred and insisted that Hubbard has had more than 100 sexual encounters with the family pet.

Pensacola News Journal noted that the “girl had heard the dog whimper and cry out in pain during each incident , and the behavior had become increasingly frequent over time, which led her to report the attacks in fear of the animal’s safety. She said the dog would initially cry out and whimper during its attacks, but over time it had stopped making noises as it was victimized.”

When signs of abuse became apparent, Hubbard was questioned about the dog’s appearance. He responded by stating that it was because the dog had been in the heat. The witness did not buy his bogus response and had notified police of this incident on December 23 rd after Hubbard had allegedly dragged the dog right out of her bedroom and brought it into his. Feeling like she no longer could  tolerate hearing the noises that came from his bedroom, she ran outside of her house and called the authorities.

Hubbard’s father denied that these allegations were true;  the police report cited that the witness  stated that the father had covered up Hubbard’s tracks in the past.

“The dog was taken to a local veterinarian for a rape kit examination, where it was found the animal’s genitals showed signs consistent with abuse. The report states the animal is very aggressive and is only loyal to one human at a time,” as noted by Pensacola News Journal

Hubbard is currently serving time at the Escambia County Jail, held with  a bond of $15,000.

Charges of engaging in sexual conduct with an animal and causing death, pain or suffering to an animal was filed against him.

He is due to appear in  court on Feb. 2.

A father filed a lawsuit against Monster Energy Drink, claiming that it  is responsible for the death of his 19 year old son.

According to College Candy, TMZ cited that Hood had “died of cardiac arrhythmia that was triggered by a caffeine overload, aka an “acute consumption” of Monster Energy Drink, according to the lawsuit. “The suit claims 3 1/2 cans of Monster has the equivalent caffeine content of 14, 12 ounce cans of Coke.”
